Fairs
Over the course of the past 15 years, Starplex / CMS has developed a division for the safe and successful management of crowds at state and county fairs throughout the greater Northwest. Between July and October each year we provide our services to at least 25 fairs from Oregon to Alaska and Washington to Montana.
While it is our Crowd Management division which is most active in the fair operations, our organization is also very active managing parking and traffic services, admission and entry inspections, and entertainment guest services.
Starplex Corporation is a member of the International Association of Fairs and Expositions and Jimmie DeLoretto, our President and C.E.O., serves as a consultant to the I.A.F.E. developing programs for Enhanced Security, Guest Services, and Guidelines for Developing Emergency Procedure Plans. Throughout his experiences with the I.A.F.E. he has developed an extensive network assisting fairs nationwide with enhanced programs.
Fairs have become a large aspect of our organization’s focus as we continue to expand into the fair operations. The challenges and energies associated with fair activities created a new source of excitement by our team of Ambassadors. As these challenges bring new experience, we will look to join other fairs for which to serve.
