Starplex/Crowd Management Services provides guest services, crowd management, parking and traffic services in North Eastern Idaho. The main clients we serve are the North Idaho Fairgrounds in Coeur’D Alene, and Greyhound Event Center in Post Falls. We have been providing this service since 1993.
The North Idaho Fairgrounds hosts the North Idaho Fair during the month of August. Lately, record crowds have attended this event. The Fair hosts a variety of shows including: a Demo Derby, Motor cross, and rodeos. Each of them play host to capacity crowds. It is a great community event that showcases CoeurD’Alene’s rich tradition.
The Greyhound Event Center hosts several events and concerts where Starplex/CMS is hired. The biggest event, held annually in July, is the Hot Rod Run, sponsored by the Hot Rod Café in Post Falls. This three day events boasts crowds over 10,000 guests, and attracts guests from Washington and Montana, as well as the local Idaho crowd.
This venue, which used to be a dog track, has been converted to a great concert venue. Its stage is set back on a hill, with a huge grass infield and plenty of concession points of sale. The site has ample paved parking, as well as additional off-site parking.
These facilities are supplemented from the Spokane Division. They work closely with facility management to create a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Many staff that work at these facilities have been with Starplex/CMS for many years and this retention is well respected with facility management.
