Amphitheatres

Starplex Corporation provides a variety of services for several of the Northwest’s outdoor Amphitheaters. These venues are in the Oregon, Washington, and Montana areas. These venues range in size from 5,000 to 22,000. These Amphitheatres include:

  • LB Day Amphitheatre, Salem Oregon
  • Les Schwab Amphitheatre, Bend Oregon
  • Marryhill Amphitheatre Goldendale Washington
  • Gorge Amphitheatre George, Washington
  • Big Sky Amphitheatre Bozeman, Montana
  • Edgefield Amphitheatre - Gresham, Oregon
  • Cuthbert Amphitheatre - Eugene, Oregon
  • White River Amphitheatre - Auburn, Washington

These facilities present challenges for Starplex Corporation and its staff. Many of them are not near our local offices and it requires a lot of preparation and extra equipment. Staffing levels can be up to 500 for large shows at the Gorge Amphitheater. Live Nation, the biggest promoter in the northwest, promotes many of these venues concerts.

Amphitheaters are busy from May through September. They attract many of the northwest premier entertainers. They also can be very challenging. Alcohol Awareness, traffic control and parking and crowd management teams are called upon to assert proactive measures in crowd management to facilitate an efficient operation.

Weather conditions and size contribute to possibilities of injury, heat exhaustion and crowd related problems for guests attending concerts. Starplex Corporation works directly with emergency agencies and law enforcement to properly manage these challenges. Starplex Corporation management works diligently to educate staff on the potential risks they face working at these facilities.
