Starplex Corporation has over 26 years experience serving the Convention Center industry and we have provided guest service and security services in venues in Portland, Eugene, Seattle, Tacoma, Spokane, Yakima, Tri Cities, and Billings Montana. These services include ushering, ticket taking, access control, and uniform security services.

Convention Center operations are unique compared to other venues because you are dealing with multiple day guests attending multiple day conventions or shows. It is important to become a part of each event and be knowledgeable of all aspects of the event. This knowledge is necessary to interact with guests in order to assist their every need.

Many conventions require a strong security presence. Starplex’s Uniform Security division, Progard Security, provides uniform security staff to monitor move-in and move-out procedures and overnight security to protect the integrity of each event. Our uniformed staff works closely with promoters and facility management to provide for the greatest protection of product and assets.
 

Each region of Starplex/Crowd Management Services has the ability to provide large staffing numbers to an event. The staff is efficiently trained in crowd management and is selected by local management to fit the event’s needs.
