Our History

In 1982 Starplex Corporation was faced with making a major decision concerning its’ business plan. Numerous facilities and municipalities around the nation and Canada were courting our services. Because of our notoriety for success we were being actively recruited to open up divisions in areas a far distance from the Pacific Northwest. While the thought of being located in numerous cities around the country was flattering, it would mean a shifting of our concentrated efforts in the Northwest. After careful consideration and investigation we found it was not in how many locations you were located or how big you were in size which was important, it was the ability to manage the overall performance of each operation. In this profession size is a detriment not an asset. Size only dilutes the management’s spectrum of control and daily supervision. It creates more liability and often is the cause for the regular transfer of local management by promotion to other operation centers. Instead of branching out we made a commitment to serve only the events and facilities of the great Northwest. We know the area, the people, and the trends better than anyone. We are hometown men and women serving the hometown. We have never regretted our decision.
